This policy explains what information Food On Focus Media (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit foodonfocus.com or contact us through it, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. Food On Focus Media is based at Office #802, SIT Tower, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. For any privacy question or request, email info@foodonfocus.com.

1. Information you give us

When you send an enquiry through a form on this site, we collect what you enter, which can include your name, company or brand name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, website or social media handle, the services you are interested in, your budget range and your message.

Alongside the form, we record technical details that help us manage enquiries and filter spam: the page you submitted from, the page and campaign that first brought you to the site (for example a search engine, social media post or advert), your browser type, your IP address and how long the form took to complete.

If you message us on WhatsApp, email or phone, we receive the details you share in that conversation.

2. How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and, if you go ahead, deliver our services.
• To keep a record of enquiries in our internal enquiry system, so the right person can follow up.
• To understand which pages, searches and campaigns bring enquiries, so we can improve the site and our marketing.
• To detect and block spam and automated submissions.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated purposes without telling you.

3. Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity, a service provided by Microsoft, to understand how visitors use our website. Clarity captures how you use and interact with our pages through behavioural metrics, heatmaps and session replay: for example where you click, how far you scroll and how you move between pages. This helps us find pages that are confusing or slow and improve the site.

• Form fields are hidden. Clarity masks text entered into form fields by default, so what you type into our enquiry forms is not shown in session recordings.
• Cookies. Clarity uses cookies and similar technologies, including first-party cookies such as _clck and _clsk, to recognise a returning browser and connect page views into a single session.
• Who receives the data. Website usage data is collected by Microsoft and processed under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Clarity data may also be used by Microsoft for its own purposes, such as improving its services, as described in that statement.
• Your choices. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, which stops Clarity recognising you between visits. See the Clarity cookie list for details.

4. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to measure visits, the pages people view, how they arrived and broadly where they are located. Google Analytics uses cookies and processes this data under Google’s privacy policy. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on or by blocking cookies.

5. Advertising pixels

Some of our campaign pages use the Meta Pixel, so that Meta (Facebook and Instagram) can tell us whether our adverts led to visits and enquiries and help show our adverts to relevant people. Meta processes this under its own privacy policy. You can manage advert preferences in your Meta account settings.

6. Other tracking on this site

• Visit source. A small script stores the page and campaign that first brought you to the site in your browser’s session storage, so it can be attached to an enquiry if you send one. It is cleared when you close the browser tab.
• WhatsApp clicks. When you click a WhatsApp button, we record the page you were on, its title, where the visit came from and whether you were on a phone or computer. No name, number or message is recorded.

7. Cookies at a glance

You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time. The site will still work, but analytics will be less accurate.

8. Who we share information with

We share information only with services that help us run the website and handle enquiries, and only as needed for that purpose:

• Hostinger, which hosts this website and our enquiry database.
• Web3Forms, which delivers enquiry form submissions to our email.
• Google, for Google Analytics and, if you choose to book a call, Google Calendar appointment booking.
• Microsoft, for Microsoft Clarity.
• Meta, for the Meta Pixel on campaign pages.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UAE. We may also disclose information if required by law.

9. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond to you, manage our working relationship and keep proper business records, and we delete or anonymise them when they are no longer needed. Analytics and Clarity data are kept according to the retention settings of those services.

10. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing info@foodonfocus.com. We will respond in line with applicable UAE data protection law. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, as described above.

11. Security

The website is served over HTTPS and our enquiry system is protected by access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our website or services change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
